Benefactors & Patrons

“A faithful friend is a strong defense;
And he that hath found him hath found a treasure.”
– Louise May Alcott

Our patrons and benefactors are at the heart of an active community of book lovers, literary enthusiasts and the intellectually curious whose generous giving helps us celebrate the power of the written word through the spoken word, and create those pure-gold literary moments of live author-audience interaction.

As a patron or benefactor of Cambridge Literary Festival, you will help us bring some of today’s brightest minds and best writers to the Festival stage. In the last year, we have hosted two record-breaking festivals, plus one-off events including Nobel Prize Winning Literature Laureate Svetlana Alexievich, international feminist icon Gloria Steinembest-selling writer Zadie Smith and Man Booker Prize winner Paul Beatty. We currently receive no public funding, so your generous support really does help. Plus, as a thank you for your support, we offer a range of benefits including free tickets and invitations to special receptions.

If you would like to become a patron or benefactor of the Festival please contact us on 01223 515335 or friends@cambridgeliteraryfestival.com
