Why donate to Cambridge Literary Festival?
Every year, Cambridge Literary Festival showcases the best in contemporary writing and brings hundreds of today’s best writers, thinkers and speakers to Cambridge. From poetry to politics, current affairs to comedy, history to hip-hop, we attract hundreds of acclaimed novelists and poets, cultural thinkers, comedians, politicians and scientists to engage, provoke and entertain our audiences in some of Cambridge’s most beautiful colleges and historic buildings. We work hard to deliver a programme that inspires readers young and old, and provide a forum for debate and brings readers and writers together in an inspirational and unique environment. We also collaborate with local schools, colleges and community groups to present an exciting programme of activities for literature lovers of all ages.
Producing a festival of this scale is expensive. Cambridge Literary Festival is a registered charity and relies on ticket sales to sustain its charitable mission of the advancement of education for the general public through the promotion of literature. We receive little or no public funding. So please support us by booking tickets, sign up as a Friend or make a donation to the festival. Any amount you can spare, however small, even the cost of an extra ticket or two, will really help.
With grateful thanks,
