Curtis Sittenfeld | Romantic Comedy – Online
Sat 6 May - Mon 29 May 2023

Recorded at Spring Festival 2023
Curtis Sittenfeld writes brilliant contemporary, clever and entertaining novels that mercilessly confront gender politics, racism, love, sex and feminism. Her New York Times and Sunday Times bestsellers have been longlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction and are must-reads for fans of smart, engaged American fiction.
The critically acclaimed and bestselling author of American Wife and Rodham, Curtis joins Jo Browning Wroe as part of her whirlwind UK tour to share Romantic Comedy, her most searingly contemporary novel yet.
Skewering all our certainties about why we fall in love, Romantic Comedy is a witty and probing tale of how the heart will follow itself, no matter what anyone says. It is Curtis at her sharpest, most daring and compassionate best.
