Join Duncan Minshull, the ‘Laureate of walking’ and editor of a new essay collection, Where My Feet Fall, for a walk around Cambridge and beyond. Inspired by countless walks found in novels, memoirs and poems in which literary characters experience moments of calm, clarity and even an epiphany or two, it’s the perfect opportunity to reflect on the relationship between walking and writing.
The walk is at a gentle pace, lasting approximately 1hr 30mins. Suitable for walking enthusiasts of all experience levels.

Author biography
Duncan Minshull, described as “a laureate of walking”, is a freelance audio producer and anthologist, formerly a senior producer at Radio 4. His previous books include While Wandering, Beneath My Feet and Sauntering. He has written extensively about walking for publications including The Times, Financial Times, Daily Telegraph, Guardian, Conde Nast Traveller and Vogue.
