So who’s coming in November?

With our Spring Festival behind us we turn our attention to Winter. Once again we look forward to filling our stages over a November weekend with a line-up of authors and speakers to delight and entertain you.

Highlights from last November included fashion icon Dame Zandra Rhodes, who after five decades reminded us what it is like to be fearless in fashion. BAFTA award winning writer, director and actor Mackenzie Crook – who in his words reminded us how lucky we were that he chose not to follow the environmental studies of early life but instead to play skinny weirdos on tv – he joined us to talk about his charming illustrated book ‘If Nick Drake Came to My House’.

We also hosted stars from stage and screen Rupert Everett and Dame Harriet Walter and welcomed acclaimed novelists Alan Hollinghurst, David Nicholls, and Jonathan Freedland.  And from the world of politics we saw Baroness Sayeeda Warsi and who could forget the rousing finale with the unsurpassable Led by Donkeys.

If you want to see any of these events again you can buy subscribing to our CLF Player for just £15 a year.

The programming team are busy and the schedule is already starting to take shape for 2025. Don’t forget to subscribe to our mailing list below to be the first to hear news of our November line up.
