Speaker Biographies

Rachel Cunliffe is the associate political editor of the New Statesman. She writes on politics, society and culture, conducts interviews, and is a regular contributor to the New Statesman podcast. You can also sometimes catch her on the BBC, Sky News and other broadcast channels. In a past life, she studied Classics here at Cambridge and has a masters in Latin love poetry.

Megan Kenyon is a political correspondent at the New Statesman. She was previously a court reporter at the Old Bailey covering grisly murder cases. She has been reading the New Statesman since she was 16.

Chair Biography

Anoosh Chakelian is Britain Editor of the New Statesman and an award-winning social affairs journalist and podcaster. She covers politics, policy and social affairs across Britain and interviews high-profile political and public figures. She is host of the award-winning New Statesman Podcast and co-presents the Westminster Reimagined podcast series with Armando Iannucci. She appears regularly on national media as a commentator on current affairs.
