Her first book Who’s the Favourite? separates fact from fiction in the sibling relationship. Loving or fraught, competitive or co-dependent, these dynamics are integral in shaping who we become. Catherine invites us to spool through our own memories of those who saw us at our best and our worst – perhaps we can forge stronger futures together?

Author Biography
Catherine Carr is an award-winning documentary maker, presenter, podcast producer and reporter with over twenty years’ experience in audio. Her work for BBC Radio 4, BBC World Service and her own company, Pocket Productions, has taken her all over the world. Carr worked as a reporter and producer for Woman’s Hour before leaving The BBC to create and produce Talking Politics. She hosted Where are You Going? Between 2014-2025 and presented and produced BBC Radio 4’s About the Boys. She is currently making the follow-up series About the Girls. As a middle child, she launched Relatively to finally get some attention! Who’s The Favourite? is her first book.
