Children’s Zone | Spring Festival 2026
Sat 25 Apr - Sun 26 Apr 2026
Why not take a break in our Children’s Zone between festival events?
Launching this year, our Children’s Zone will be open throughout the weekend of the Festival, 25 – 26 April.
This drop-in zone will give children a space to relax with a book, take part in craft activities or find some quiet between events.
Also scheduled throughout the weekend are storytelling sessions led by master storyteller Chip Colquhoun, and illustration sessions where children can have their portraits drawn by illustrator Tonka Uzu.
Feel free to come and go as you please – you don’t have to book and the zone is free to visit, just like all of our Children’s Festival events!
The drop in zone will be open from 10am – 5pm, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April, in the beautiful setting of the Cambridge Union Library.
