Join award-winning author Rashmi Sirdeshpande for a joyful event celebrating her new picture book Super Uma, illustrated by Nakul P. Rashmi will share a read-aloud, talk about dreaming up stories that crackle with imagination and explore the themes at the heart of Super Uma – collaboration, empathy and creating spaces where everyone can feel safe and happy. Expect warmth, humour and lots of joining in!

Author Biography
Rashmi Sirdeshpande is a lawyer turned children’s author, with two young children who ask her lots of questions. Rashmi writes non-fiction picture books that ignite children’s curiosity, as well as fictional stories that crackle with imagination. When she’s not playing with words, you’ll find her on her yoga mat twisting herself into all sort of shapes.
