Join science writer Dr. Letizia Diamante on an exciting journey into the fascinating world of mouths in this hands-on, jaw-dropping event inspired by her book Open Wide! Get ready to dive into the science behind our teeth, tongues, and spit as Dr. Diamante uncovers the weird and wonderful ways animals use their mouths. From the powerful jaws of the great white shark to the delicate teeth of a garden snail, this adventure takes you through the most incredible mouths in the animal kingdom.

Did you know some animals have tongues longer than their bodies, or that certain species have super-sticky spit to catch their next meal? Animals use their mouths for far more than just eating—they carry their food, care for their babies, build homes, and even scale waterfalls! This is a chance to explore these amazing adaptations and learn how they help animals survive and thrive in the wild.

With engaging quizzes, games, and fun animal facts, this event is a feast for all young science enthusiasts. Stylish illustrations and zoom-in photographs from Open Wide! will bring the stories and facts to life.
